Cette initiative s\u2019inscrit dans le cadre du Projet Grand Nord, financ\u00e9 par la Banque Interam\u00e9ricaine de D\u00e9veloppement (BID) et supervis\u00e9 par l\u2019OREPA-Nord.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La c\u00e9r\u00e9monie de lancement a \u00e9t\u00e9 dirig\u00e9e par l\u2019ing\u00e9nieur Th\u00e9ophil OSTINVIL, Directeur G\u00e9n\u00e9ral de la DINEPA, en pr\u00e9sence de la mairesse du Cap-Ha\u00eftien, Mme Angie BELL, du Directeur R\u00e9gional du Nord, M. Pierre Bernadin POISSON, ainsi que de cadres de la DINEPA et des autorit\u00e9s locales et d\u00e9partementales. Les m\u00e9dias \u00e9crits, parl\u00e9s, t\u00e9l\u00e9vis\u00e9s et en ligne \u00e9taient \u00e9galement pr\u00e9sents pour couvrir l\u2019\u00e9v\u00e9nement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Le groupement IMCO COTASSA a \u00e9t\u00e9 retenu pour l\u2019ex\u00e9cution des travaux, dont la dur\u00e9e est estim\u00e9e \u00e0 huit mois, sous la supervision de l\u2019entreprise \u00e9trang\u00e8re WMI. Les travaux comprennent la r\u00e9alisation d\u2019une ligne de refoulement de 7 km, reliant les forages F9 et F11 situ\u00e9s dans la zone SOS\/Bodin aux r\u00e9servoirs de Babiole. Deux nouveaux r\u00e9servoirs vitrifi\u00e9s seront construits, avec des capacit\u00e9s de 4 000 m\u00b3 et 2 000 m\u00b3, pour un stockage total de 6 000 m\u00b3.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ces infrastructures permettront d\u2019alimenter les quartiers allant de Morne Rouge \u00e0 Cit\u00e9 Lescot (Cit\u00e9 du Peuple) et am\u00e9lioreront la qualit\u00e9 et l\u2019efficacit\u00e9 de la distribution d\u2019eau potable dans la r\u00e9gion. Avec ce projet, la DINEPA affirme sa volont\u00e9 de renforcer durablement le secteur Eau Potable et Assainissement (EPA) dans le Grand Nord et d\u2019inscrire ses actions dans le d\u00e9veloppement
