Selon le&nbsp;<em>Miami Herald<\/em>, l\u2019affaire relance le d\u00e9bat sur sa citoyennet\u00e9 am\u00e9ricaine, que le D\u00e9partement de la S\u00e9curit\u00e9 int\u00e9rieure (DHS) consid\u00e8re comme r\u00e9voqu\u00e9e depuis 2008.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Les avocats de Boulos contestent cette position, affirmant qu\u2019aucune proc\u00e9dure r\u00e9guli\u00e8re n\u2019a valid\u00e9 une telle renonciation et qu\u2019aucun document officiel ne confirme la perte de sa nationalit\u00e9. Ils jugent ainsi sa d\u00e9tention \u00ab ill\u00e9gale \u00bb. De son c\u00f4t\u00e9, le DHS soutient qu\u2019il est \u00ab expulsable \u00bb, en s\u2019appuyant notamment sur une lettre de l\u2019ancien secr\u00e9taire d\u2019\u00c9tat Marco Rubio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Face \u00e0 cette bataille juridique, la juge Beth Bloom a donn\u00e9 au gouvernement am\u00e9ricain jusqu\u2019au 2 septembre pour pr\u00e9senter ses arguments. Une nouvelle audience est fix\u00e9e au 22 septembre, afin de d\u00e9terminer si Pierre R\u00e9ginald Boulos peut \u00eatre renvoy\u00e9 en Ha\u00efti.<\/p>\n\n    <div class=\"xs_social_share_widget
